LONG BEACH, CA (September 11, 2008) – Playhouse Disney Live! brings its stage show to the Terrace Theater/Long Beach Performing Arts Center on Sunday, September 28, for THREE performances. Presented by Feld Entertainment, show times are 12Noon, 3PM, and 6PM. This tour features characters from four popular Playhouse Disney television shows sharing the stage for the first time.
In this brand new production, Playhouse Disney Live! transports audiences into the colorful worlds of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Little Einsteins, My Friends Tigger & Pooh, and Handy Manny. The Little Einsteins, Leo, Annie, Quincy, and June set off on a musical mission around the world to find a song for the party - with the help of Rocket, of course! Pooh, Tigger, and Darby spring into action to search for music in the Hundred Acre Wood, and Handy Manny and his team of tools find the perfect party beat.
“The addition of a third performance demonstrates a great response from the community for quality family entertainment,” said Dan Spellens, Director of Theaters and Entertainment at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center. “Playhouse Disney Live! breathes life into characters that children already love and puts them on stage for a wonderful theatrical experience,” he concluded.
