On October 12, 2007, the Long Beach International City Bank Marathon is kicking off a weekend of activities leading up to the annual marathon event. The Health and Fitness Expo will be held at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center, Hall C; hours are noon to 7:00 pm on October 12 and 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on October 13. Events on Sunday, October 14, include a bike tour, marathon, half-marathon, 5K run and a kids’ 1-mile fun run. The Finish Line Festival will be held at Shoreline and Linden Avenue between 7:00 am and 2:00 pm. For more information, please visit the marathon website.
